Organizing Dilemma: Wants vs. Needs

Spread the love

Are you one of those people who don’t know what they’d like for a gift?

Not me! I could think of a hundred things that would make me giddy. πŸ˜‰

IΒ could always use a new purse, new boots, the latest jeans, cool jewelry, new crockery, awesome pj’s, latest romance trilogy, refreshed makeup and trust me…the list goes on.

There’s certainly no shortage of “wants” in my life.

Especially during the holiday season. I really don’t think I’m a greedy person, but man, would I be happy with all the stuff that I want!

Or would I??

If I bought everything I wanted, I’d be up to my eyeballs in stuff. And that would be really uncomfortable. Plus ridiculously expensive!

So, like most of us, decisions need to be made all the time about what we want, how badly we want it, if we need it, and what the value is. Wow, that’s a lot of decisions to make.

Find out the easy peasy process I remind myself of whenever I’m faced with these choices, in today’s quick vid.

And when you’re done watching, I’d love to know if it gave you something to think about…especially as we’re embarking on the holidays.

To all my U.S.-based friends, Happy Thanksgiving! I truly wish you a wonderful and peaceful time with your friends and family.

And if you’re not celebrating this holiday, I still have the same wish for you. πŸ™‚

Soooooo appreciative of all your love and support!

xoxo,
Mridu

Thank you! I will think of you next time I reach to the brownie!
I definitely need some impulse control when it comes to shopping!

Girl, you and me both! πŸ˜‰ But I’m definitely getting better at it by simply taking 30 seconds to pause and think. Glad this was helpful for you Charu. xo, Mridu

Hi Mridu,
I’m catching up on some of your past videos. I like the idea of Stop. Think. Sometimes I imagine where the item would go. If I can see it, ok. If it seems too much, No.
You are adorable as usual. πŸ™‚
