How To Not Get Distracted

Spread the love

Isn’t life distracting?

Seriously. We are ova-stimulated.

If it’s not Facebook, it’s YouTube.

If it’s not email, it’s voicemail.

If it’s not a reminder, it’s a text.

One of the things I get most distracted with is phone calls. (Yes, I’m still old school and actually pick up the phone. 😉

It seems like just when I’m ready to sit down and focus on something, my phone rings. And I’m so tempted to answer it.

Especially when it’s a friend I haven’t spoken to in a long time. Or my mom and I’m dying to catch her up on the latest.

I’m the first to admit I have little resistance to a name and number on my screen.

And although I tried to use more willpower, I realized it wasn’t going to be the answer. I needed other strategies in place to make this challenge easier.

So in today’s vid I’m gonna share three solid ways to eliminate phone distractions (that don’t test your self-control).

And after you’re done watching I’d love for you to take this weeks challenge. In fact, you’ve got no excuse my sweet friend – because it literally takes under a minute.

Which one of the quick but super effective tips will you use? Remember, the only way to share your inspiration is to type it into that sweet little comment box below.

So c’mon down and make it official. Can’t wait to join you there.

To peace, love and belly-aching laughter.

Mridu~I really enjoy your organizing tips. However, I was distracted in today’s video by your taking of God’s name in vain during one of your mock telephone conversations. I understand that you many not be Jewish or Christian, but I find it unprofessional, at best, that you would post a video making light of someone else’s God.

Thank you for allowing me to provide you this feedback and I look forward to enjoying your tips in the future.

Carol, I’m sorry if I offended you. I did not mean anything disparaging or hateful but it is out of habit – part of a vernacular used by many East Coasters. (It’s just the New Yorker in me. 😉

I do appreciate your support but if this type of language offends you, my blog may not be the right place for you. (But I’ll leave that decision to you. 🙂

Wishing you peace and success, Mridu

Great tips and entertaining as always!
I think I’ll start with the voicemail change first and go from there!
