How I Get Everything Done

Spread the love

It’s easy for me to get distracted. Very distracted.

Like I’m typing this blog and see my nails on the keyboard and grab the nail filer.

Like I’m working on a training program and I remember we need garbage bags so I start a shopping list.

Like I’m in the middle of making dinner, hear my phone ding and start texting with a friend.

It’s not easy to stay focused. Complete stuff. Follow through.

But I’ve found if I have a few simple goals everyday, I can make progress. And without those goals, my thoughts and actions are all over the place.

That’s why staying accountable to yourself is so important. So I’ve implemented the simplest way to do it. And I’d love to tell you more about it in today’s short vid.

Like most habits, it’s easy to do but not always easy to follow through. That’s why I’m so glad we’re in this together.

By motivating each other, we support our collective success. 🙂 So I really hope I hear from you in the comments below.

Let me know what your goals will be this week so you stay accountable too.

Love you so much for reading and watching…but mostly for being your awesome self.

To making strides and feeling great along the way!

I’m not setting up three goals for this week because I have one major goal – organizing my clothes closet and sorting through seasonal clothing. The sub goals are to make separaters for the shelf in my closet out of cardboard boxes so that my tops don’t topple over each other, and to do the same on another shelf to store my out of season clothes. The next sub goal is to rummage through the clothes I do have to see what I still want to keep, and what I can donate, and if it’s really bad, to chuck out. The third sub goal is for me to sort out my my scarves and put them in a place in my closet where I can see them clearly (not in a plastic bin like I have now). And, finally, to do the same with my necklaces.

What an amazing plan Leah! You’re definitely setting yourself up for success. One big goal and three sub-goals working towards achieving it. Love it!! Thank you for the inspiration! xo, m
