Beat Procrastination And Clutter. Double Whammy!

Spread the love

This month I’ve been running an awesome Organization Challenge on FB. (By the way, if you haven’t joined yet, you can jump on it right here).

Every day I give one focused task to declutter or simplify.

I love motivating others – but I’ll be honest – it’s really helped light a fire under my butt, too. I’ve finally taken care of some areas I’ve been procrastinating forever.

Sometimes a quick motivational vid from a friend (like yours truly 😉 is exactly what you need.

Other times you get the inspiration you need by reading a blog or even seeing an FB image.

And other times you take action just by the way things are set up in your home.

Like, have you made things convenient for you to work on? Is it easy to put items back where you found them? To find them in the first place?

Simple systems are my mantra, but even I fall prey to over-complicating processes at times.

In today’s video I’ll show you how you could be making this mistake and how it’s making you procrastinate and even worse…duh..duh…duh…adding clutter! NOOOOOOOO!!

Avoid this double whammy by watching today’s tip.

And when you’re through, I’d love to hear how you can make a change that will help you get moving too.

You are the bestest, my sweet friend. Thank you so much for your time and support.

Can’t wait to “see” you again next week.

Here’s to staying uncomplicated….(and warm!)  Oh my gosh – it’s single digits even in the South!

Love always,
Mridu

I will be working on that issue where it should be placed. I have a blanket in the living room that should not be there.
Thank you.

Great suggestion for my nesting area!! Blankets, books, mags, pen, gum, extra reading glasses!!, etc in a big basket next to the couch. Keeping it cleaned out is the key though but at least it is in one place!! Thanks!

I love the idea of a big basket in the family room. Might need to steal that. 😉 Thanks for sharing Mica! xo, mridu

The item that quickly came to mind that I need to move into a kitchen drawer is my roll of packaging tape. Why didn’t I think of that a long time ago??? Thanks so much!
