5 Quick Daily Organization Wins

Spread the love

Routines are good, aren’t they?

Routines get your teeth cleaned every morning. Routines make you eat everyday. And they get us to bed every night.

But some routines can also be hard. I mean like, really hard.

I’ve been trying to get on a good workout routine forever, and it’s always a struggle for me. But the days I commit to it, everything feels so much better

I have more energy. I feel more successful. And I get motivated to do other things.

And it’s pretty much the same with routines in your home. You enjoy emotional, physical and mental benefits to small, daily routines…otherwise known as habits.

When I get a few “wins” in my house, my energy soars, my positivity skyrockets and my anxiety goes down.

And today I want to share five, quick daily organization wins with you, because I’d love nothing more than to help you feel the same way.

And you know I love to make things simple. 🙂 Not only because I hate complications, but because it’s how I find the greatest success in reaching my goals.

So even though I’m going to tell you about five simple wins, I want to make this really doable. So here’s what I’d love for you to do:

  • Pick just TWO wins you can commit to (that you’re not already doing)
  • Take the first step towards taking action by posting them in the comments

Awesome! I’m so excited to hear what you’re going to do and how it’s gonna make you feel.

To your happiness and success,
XO,
Mridu

Thanks for another great video ! Nice job as always!! I like the idea of just five things to do in a day ! I always have a big list and hate that I can never finish all of it. Simpler is better! Thanks again.

I’m not so much into writing lists per say. But I do pin reminders to a board I pass going from the living room to the kitchen. There’s a large calender handy for posting appointments and my work schedule so the family knows where each person needs to be each day. So I’ll commit to the list thing. Already do the rest. In addition to dealing with my clothes I’d like to add that before going to bed, I lay out work clothes for next day. I also gather any items going out the door [Purse, mail, drop off items, etc.] together and have them readily available for a quick exit as I leave, no more searching for a lost item or forgotten lists or paperwork.

Hi Carolyn. I am wondering if you would adopt me. 🙂 I love you! Thanks for all your inspiration. xo, mridu

Diane

I pile my clothes on my bed so I’m going to work on making my bed and dealing with my clothes!

Love hearing from you Jameen! Appreciate all your support! xo, mridu

Susan

Choosing making my bed and clearing the sink. If I succeed at those two, I will add dealing with my clothes. I love to lay them over a chair in my room instead of dealing with them.

Way to stay accountable Susan! Thanks for your inspiration friend. 🙂 xo, mridu

It all seems so reasonable. And you are right, it will contribute positively to my attitude. There is no drawback so why are these simple tasks so difficult some days? I am going to make my bed and deal with the clothes. Now.

Mridu

That’s a great question Stephanie. I think with the hectic pace of our lives it’s just easy to let some things slide every now or then. And that’s totally okay! It’s called real life. But if you can reel yourself back in every other day and get back on track…things will be a lot easier. I know, changing habits is hard. But that’s why we’re all here to support each other. 😉 You’re doing great! xo, mridu
