3 Easy Steps To A Makeup Makeover

Spread the love

Ever bought makeup and gotten a free gift, like a sample of lipstick, mascara, lotion and some kind of branded bag?

Or maybe bought makeup just to get those things? 😉

I’ve done both.

And generally there’s only one item in the freebies that looks good on my skin color, or that I actually remember to use.

The rest?

In my bag of samples and extra makeup they go. Never to be seen again.

This has got to stop, friend. I’ve saved waaaaaay too much makeup for just one little face  – and I’m thinking you might be in the same boat.

Luckily, I finally have it under control. The urge to purge took over me and I now have two makeup areas. That’s right, two.

If you’re wondering why, I explain the method to my madness in today’s vid. And I can’t wait for you to get in on the awesomeness.

When you’re done watching puh-lease let me know that you’re going to take immediate action or if you have any other fantabulous tips for makeup organization.

Thank you for your support and comments every week. As always, wishing you a beautiful week (and face).

Mridu

I just had this discussion with a friend about all the “free samples” being more clutter! All I want is a free sample of the one thing before I buy it and to pack for travel! Also, I keep my everyday makeup in a travel pouch ready to go at all times and do appreciate the smaller sizes. Thank you for your tips about separating everyday from fancy! good ideas!

Mica, I love the idea of keeping your everyday makeup in a travel pouch — so you can be on the go at any time. Thanks for joining the conversation and sharing the tip! xo, mridu

I sell Make up. I simplified a few years ago. Recently I moved. My small in suiet bathroom required more purging. I have no counter room. I have had to get more creative. I love the clear organizer you displayed. I have access to a lot of make up. But found I am happier with less. Small vanity and no drawers. No counter space help me make those choices. I still look good.I just had to purge and organize.

So many gems in what you said Brenda! “I found I am happier with less.” and “No counter space help me make those choices.” Both are about simplifying and how by doing that you have more happiness and ease in your life. Thank you so much for inspiration!! Love it! xo, mridu

I knew this video challenge would come eventually. One I’ve dreaded. When I was working, shamefully I got caught up in the “bargain” makeup and potion puchases on the shopping networks to make me look stunningly beautiful and ageless. (Well, that was a fail) I’ve hung on to these items – embarrassment, I’ll use it one day, not wanting to waste my money. This will be my #1 attack this week.

Sherie, you crack me up! And we’ve all been there — buying promises that don’t deliver. Such is life and so, we learn! 😉 But I’m psyched for you to tackle this space, put all that unnecessary makeup behind you and let your beautiful face (and space) shine! Love hearing from you friend! xo, mridu
